JULY 20th OPEN HOUSE

MARCH 3RD COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE
The first of three Community Open Houses was held on March 3rd, with over 75 people in attendance. Attendees took the opportunity to provide input during this initial meeting for the Downtown Transit-Oriented Development Plan. The meeting opened with an introduction to the Project Team, and a background of the project. URS presented an overview of the concept of transit-oriented development in order to provide residents with an understanding as it relates to Downtown Mundelein.
Everyone in attendance was invited to participate in a Visual Preference Survey exercise during the meeting to help the Project Team gain an understanding of desirable land uses, facilities and styles for the Downtown in the future. Those who were unable to attend the meeting were encouraged to fill out the survey online, made available on the website until March 14th. Links to the meeting summary and presentation are below.

Comments and questions were encouraged from attendees of the meeting. The Project Team provided comment cards for those who wished to leave additional comments. Feedback from the comment cards is included below.
