If a family member is suspected of using illegal drugs, a FREE Drug Sensor Kit can be obtained from the Mundelein Police Department to assist in identifying if these drugs are in a person's body. This kit is provided for a one-time, no cost use. (Note: A processing fee is required by the lab. See below.)
To acquire a FREE kit, the recipient must come to the Police Department, show a valid driver's license, and must be a current resident of the Village of Mundelein. After following the enclosed instructions, the sample must be mailed to the designated processing facility, along with the applicable processing fee. The results of the tests are confidential, and are not provided to the Police Department.
