We wanted to pass a great idea on to you that with just a little effort on your part could possibly put a loved one at ease or even save your life.
Following the recent terrorist bombings in London, Great Britain launched a national campaign called ICE (In Case of Emergency) asking all cellular telephone users to store emergency notification/next of kin information in their cellular telephone’s electronic phone book.
What if someone is injured or incapacitated? How do emergency first responders or medical staff notify their family? The answer can be simple if the injured person has a cellular phone. Simply store emergency contact numbers in the telephone’s electronic phone book under the heading of:
ICE (In Case of Emergency).
Multiple listings can be stored as ICE1, ICE2, etc.
We encourage you to take a moment to do this and pass along the information to your friends and family.
